Hayao Miyazaki is a film director and animator. He cofounded Studio Ghibli, and works with Isao Takahata.
Hayao attended different schools though out his life, and knew his passion in high school. He drew tanks and planes at first and then he had to conquer the human form. He started out working as an in between artist for Toei Animation. Several years later he became a chief animator, concept artist, and scene designer for a film.
He got to where he is today by creating several amazing titles in the late 80s till today, and with the cofounding of Studio Ghibli.
Hayao like to stick to the fundamentals for his animations, and that is what he believes in. Staying true to the roots.
